We construct according to your specifications
The name Maracor is a combination of Andre Lotz parents’ names, Margaretha and Cornelius.
Hannes Lotz, spent most of his life working in the building supply industry and started the business in 1999 in Paarl. In May 2000, he relocated to Malmesbury at the request of local building contractors who urgently needed someone with his knowledge and experience.
We began in a small rented unit in Hoog Street, but by April 2001, we had already outgrown the space and moved to our current location in Arcadia Street. Since then, we’ve expanded by adding a second unit, doubling our floor and storage capacity.
As the business grew quickly, my brother Nellis joined from Johannesburg in 2002, and I followed from Cape Town in 2003.
In 2005, we opened a second branch in Voortrekker Street, Riebeek West, which later moved to a much larger premises in Station Road in April 2014 now its permanent home.
Due to ongoing growth, we added a bulk storage facility in February 2024 to support both branches efficiently.
